Welcome to CERT, Championship E-Racing Teams!
CERT was created alongside existing e-racing teams to provide an organized league racing environment common in Europe but relatively rare in the Americas. The league will feature the bells and whistles you expect, such as live broadcasts with commentary, live stewarding throughout the events, and the exciting endurance sports car racing rFactor 2 excels at. On top of that, we will also be adding our own twists that will make CERT an exciting event for those already deep in the rFactor 2 scene. The added twists of safety cars and some eclectic and unique tracks for you and your team to overcome will make the CERT a new challenge.
Races will be held bi-weekly on Sunday’s starting in May. Sprints last 1.5 hours, while enduros last 6 hours. We will have a sprint, endurance, and an overall team championship.
For Season 1, at least, the league will run the Studio 397 GT3 cars and the Alpine in its GT4 configuration alongside a custom update of the Nissan 370z GT4. The assists allowed will be limited to those found on the vehicles. Fortunately for the weary, that includes ABS and TC.
