The Fatheadz Cup Series started with the idea of running an iRacing league with real-life team structures based loosely on the NASCAR Cup Series. The idea would be that these teams would help their drivers grow their skillset and bring with it a steep competition. The drivers themselves come from all over North America. The league itself grew from the 1987 series cars and today currently run with the newest Cup Series cars with plans to grow into other series' and cars. As of today, these drivers run paint schemes that closely resemble those of the NASCAR Cup Series. They may not carry the real-life sponsors, however as each driver has the ability to run their own personal sponsors.

This league is a paid league with a money prize at the end of the season.

The Fatheadz Cup Series runs a 26 race season, with a 10 race playoff based on the current NASCAR Cup Series playoff structure. The cars run open setups with no fast repairs. Fuel is limited to 50% - 60% capacity with limited sets of tires per race. Race lengths vary with each track with the intention on being around 1 hour in length time.

Fatheadz Cup Series has no affiliation to any real-life teams or their respective esports teams at this time.
